Our Story
Having wandered the world on very different paths, Mike — former Navy Commander who once ruled the high seas — and Sean, coffee entrepreneur, finally crossed paths on Bainbridge Island. There, over the aroma of freshly roasted coffee and the wild beauty of the Pacific Northwest, they discovered a genuine friendship and a shared passion that felt like coming home.
What began with the enchanting crackle and perfume of roasting beans soon grew into a bigger dream. They poured that friendship and love for great coffee into creating something special right here on the serene shores of Gamble Bay.
Today that warmth shines through in golden waffles that make locals swoon from Poulsbo to Bainbridge, velvety house-churned gelato swirled with pure joy, coffee roasted with care in our own Kitsap corner, sunlit seasonal brunch plates bursting with local ingredients, and thoughtful whiskey flights at Port Gamble that taste like stories from the Olympic Peninsula.
Everything (well, almost everything) is crafted on-site with the finest ingredients and a generous sprinkle of family love. And the most beautiful waterfront in Kitsap? That was just the universe smiling on two friends with a good idea and even better coffee.

Born from two friends’ shared passion for food, coffee, world travel, and the sea (because apparently commanding ships and chasing coffee beans around the planet wasn’t adventurous enough), this is a place designed for gathering, discovering, and coming back again and again.
